Evil Exist

John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Evil exist. The devil shows up as your door not with horns a pitchfork and a tail. The devil shows up as everything you’ve ever wanted.

The devil’s goal is to rob us of peace, joy, and purpose. He works through temptation, lies, and division to pull us away from God’s truth. But Jesus offers the opposite, abundant life, restoration, and victory.

There is more to how the enemy works.
The devil mirrors your desires, gaining your trust through deception. No matter how he appears, he adopts your interests, shares your values, and even claims your faith.

He lies about his past, shaping his story to make himself seem like a victim or a hero—whatever serves his purpose. He hides the truth to manipulate you, keeping you unaware of the destruction he has left behind.

But soon, he demands all of your attention, isolating you from friends, family, and loved ones. And even that is not enough he always wants more. He takes from you piece by piece, stripping away your joy, your identity, and even your possessions. No matter the form in which he appears the pattern is the same.

Yet, when there is nothing left to take, he doesn’t simply leave. The devil cannot exist without someone to destroy. Before moving on, he ensures he has another victim lined up because his nature is to steal, kill, and destroy.

But there is hope. There is an escape. The moment the devil is revealed for what he is, you are no longer powerless. You do not have to fight alone. There is One who sees, One who knows, and One who heals. Jesus Christ is the refuge, the healer, and the deliverer. No matter how deep the wounds, no matter how much has been stolen, He can restore you. Call on Him, and He will answer. Run to Him, and He will rescue. The enemy does not have the final word, God does, and His word is freedom.

Jeremiah 30:17:

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.”

This verse reminds us that while the enemy tries to steal, kill, and destroy, God is in the business of restoring and healing. No matter the wounds. physical, emotional, or spiritual. His power brings wholeness.
