And most men walk around in it like it’s normal. Comfortable. Just part of life. But it’s not. It’s slavery. Here’s the kind of chains many men wear without even realizing it:
1. People-Pleasing
You say “yes” when you should say “no.”
You live for approval. Afraid to disappoint. That’s not love, that’s fear in disguise.
2. Pornography
It’s not a “guy thing.” It’s an addiction. It’s rewiring your brain, killing your intimacy, and numbing your soul.
3. Passivity
You sit back. You coast. You wait. You avoid.
But God didn’t create you to be a bystander. You were built to build.
4. Anger
You explode… or you shut down. Either way, you’re chained to a wound you never faced.
5. Bitterness
Unforgiveness isn’t strength. It’s poison you sip daily, expecting your enemies to suffer.
6. Comparison
You scroll. You measure. You envy.
But while you’re watching another man’s life, you’re not living your own.
7. Comfort
You won’t take the risk. You won’t have the hard conversation.
You’ve made peace with mediocrity and that’s the deadliest prison of all.
8. Silence
You don’t speak. You don’t lead. You think it’s humble. It’s not. It’s fear muzzling your voice.
Wake up, man of God.
You were not saved to stay stuck.
You were not chosen to live chained.
It’s time to see the cuffs for what they are and break them.
No more quiet prisons. No more false freedom.
You’re made to walk free, bold, and on fire.
