𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

“𝒥𝑒𝓈𝓊𝓈 𝓈𝒶𝒾𝒹, ‘𝒯𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝒶𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓃𝑒.’” 𝒥𝑜𝒽𝓃 𝟣𝟣:𝟥𝟫

Let us set the scene:

Lazarus was dead. Four days in the tomb. His body smelled. The people were grieving. Martha was doubting. Mary was weeping. Everyone was convinced this was the end.

But Jesus stepped in. Calm. Certain. Full of power.

He was ready to call a man from death to life

But before He did, He turned to the people and said

“Take away the stone.”

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁.

The Son of God, who turned water to wine, who calmed the storm with His voice, who was about to raise a dead man, asked THEM to move the rock

Not because He could not. But because He will not do your part.

Read this slowly: God will never resurrect what you are still hiding behind

You want a breakthrough. You want healing. You want to breathe again.

Then move the thing standing in the way

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬

That stone is anything you have let sit in front of your faith

It is the sin you still justify

It is the grudge you will not let go

It is the insecurity you let speak louder than God’s promise

It is your silence. Your pride. Your laziness

Your “one day I will change” mentality

𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙨 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡: 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨

And here is the hard truth

Jesus is not going to roll it for you

He will speak life. He will bring the miracle. But you have to move the barrier

IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT WHAT IS DEAD

This story is not just about resurrection

It is about obedience before the miracle

Faith before the fix

Action before the answer

Some of you are begging God to move in your marriage

but you will not open your mouth and apologize

You want freedom from addiction

but you will not delete the app, cancel the number, or confess it to someone who can help

You say you want to lead your family

but you are not leading yourself

You are waiting on God

But He is waiting on you… to move the rock

THIS IS YOUR WAKE-UP CALL

Stop staring at the stone

Stop rehearsing the pain

Stop standing in the crowd hoping Jesus does it for you

Pick it up. Push it over

Do the uncomfortable thing

Take the step. Start the fast. Make the call

Open the Bible before you open your phone

Go back to church. Forgive them anyway

Because life is on the other side of obedience

And resurrection is on the other side of the rock

“I will stop asking God to move what He told me to handle

I will not make peace with what is burying me

Today, I roll the stone

Today, I make room for the miracle.”
